About Fratello

Fratello, founded in 2004 by Robert-Jan Broer, is one of the leading online magazines on (luxury) watches. We are a team of editors who are passionate about watches and publish unique content daily: hands-on watch reviews, industry news, discussing the latest watch releases, and engaging with our strong readership, are vital activities of our publication. We host watch-related events for our readers, travel abroad to visit watch manufacturers, and collaborate with watch brands to create exclusive timepieces.

Employee testimonials

What is the most interesting thing about working at Fratello, and about the work you do?

“Everyone at Fratello shares the same passion and is driven to create content that matters and to have fun while doing so. The work is always evolving like a constant adventure within the world of watches. We truly have a great environment where everybody is there for each other.”
Karina, Editor

What makes you smile when you think about your job?

“It never gets boring working at Fratello because there are always new developments and topics to follow! Everyone can contribute their ideas, and it doesn’t matter whether you are the owner or an employee — all voices are heard. It is also great to work in a dynamic team with short and uncomplicated official channels. It works wonderfully, even though the team works across half of Europe and does not sit in an office together. Even as a non-watch nerd, the team quickly grips you with their spirit and enthusiasm.”
Nadja, Senior Account Manager Media Sales

What excites you about the work you do?

“Having the chance to wear and form personal opinions about the most exciting, cutting-edge watches available today (and tomorrow) is a privilege I never take for granted.”
Rob, Managing Editor

What happens when you tell people about your job?

“That look you get when you tell someone you capture watches for a living is priceless. Yet it doesn’t take much to explain our passion for watches and the thrill of normally “closed doors” being open for us.”
Bert, Horological Photographer & Editor

What advice would you give a job seeker who’s thinking about applying for a job at Fratello?

“Just do it! Applying for the job was one of the best decisions I ever made. Working with like-minded people, and in an industry that has long been a passion of mine, means it doesn’t feel like work in the traditional sense of the word.”
Dave, Fratello Shop Manager
